Dr. Sable has been an active member of the Northern Lake County Medical Community for 10 years. She completed her internship, residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at The University of Chicago Hospital and Clinics. She has practiced on the North Shore since 1993. She has received many academic honors, awards and achievements in Gastroenterology. She is a fellow in the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastrointestinal Association, and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Sable maintains an active teaching appointment with Rush University Medical Center. She has participated in numerous clinical trials, publications, and had her own NIH Grant, performing basic research on intestinal differentiation during her fellowship. Dr. Sable enjoys all areas of Gastroenterology, performing EGD (Upper Endoscopy) and Colonoscopy with a special interest in colon cancer screening, GERD, IBD.
